Wireless Connectivity for MCU-based IoT Designs
CEC Archives | CEC Semester Twelve 2017 | Wireless Connectivity for MCU-based IoT Designs
Wireless connectivity is a defining aspect of IoT applications. This class will cover how wireless connectivity is used in these applications and the major design considerations and trade-offs.
This class will provide an introduction to the Renesas Synergy Platform- the target used to provide example designs during the rest of the course. A description of each of the key hardware, software and documentation elements of the platform will be provided.
This class will provide descriptions and examples of Cellular use in IoT designs. The Renesas Synergy Platform and other implementations will be described. A short description of other wireless communication system will also be provided.
